Assistant Officer – Purchasing 

1.  Ensuring continuity of supply for components and enhancing supply chain flexibility in a timely manner;

2.  Assisting in purchasing activities including purchase order process, RFQ, sourcing, supplier quality issues, delivery and benchmarking exercise;

3.  Communicating and negotiating with suppliers;

4.  Assisting in the development of existing/new components strategies for Material Cost Reduction;

5.  Collaborating with various departments to understand customers' needs;

6.  Monitoring, measuring and reviewing supplier performance, to maintain good relationship with vendors

1.  Degree holder in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or Sourcing/Supply Chain related discipline is preferred

2.  Minimum 2-3 years of solid experience in sourcing and purchasing

3.  Familiar with cost analysis knowledge is preferred

4.  Experience in procurement procedures formulation is an advantage

5.  Proficient in MS Excel and ERP system

6.  Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin

7.  Good communication and negotiation skill

8.  Self-motivated and able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure

9.  Responsible, Reliable with good multi-tasking skill.
