圣诞节有什么习俗呢？
What are some of the traditions of Christmas?
传说中，圣诞老人会在圣诞节的晚上，偷偷的从烟囱里面爬进孩子们的房间，把准备好的礼物放进孩子们挂在床头上的袜子里面呢。虽然只是传说，但孩子们迎接圣诞的期待心情还是满满的。今天大二班的孩子们在Alex老师的悉心指导下，制作了装礼物的圣诞袜子，等待圣诞节的到来！
According to Western folklore, Santa Claus on Christmas night secretly climbed in children's bedrooms through the chimney, and put the prepared small gifts in each good child's stocking, as their stocking were hanging at the head of the bed. It may have been just a legend, but children nevertheless have their hearts filled with joy and expectations as they look forward to Christmas. That is why the children in Alex's classroom today, under the guidance of the teacher, made a Christmas stocking ready to be loaded with gifts, as they await the arrival of Christmas.
美工活动是能让幼儿按照自己的意愿和兴趣来表达自己的体验和情感的极好形式。它既强调幼儿的自主性、兴趣性又为幼儿提供了主动学习的基本条件。
This activity was intended to allow children to create freely as a method of expressing their experience and feelings. The emphasis was put on young children's autonomy and providing them with the basic conditions required for active learning.
美工活动在幼儿感兴趣的同时也蕴涵着学习的潜能，结合多元智能理论，它突破了传统教育中幼儿处于被动静止状态。而是通过教师的设计、创设让幼儿在和环境的相互作用中，主动进行游戏活动，使其涉及到艺术、健康、科学、社会、语言等领域从不同的角度促进幼儿情感、态度、能力、知识、技能各方面发展。
Art should also be about learning, and through the use of the theory of multiple intelligences, the goal is to break through the boundaries of traditional education and remove the children from their passive state. Through the teacher's modeling and positive environment interaction, every lesson becomes a new excuse to integrate the different types of intelligence from different angles in order to stimulate children's emotion, attitude, ability, knowledge, skills and all other aspects of their development.

Parents were truly able to see the strong hands-on ability of each child, and hear Alex engage children in fluent English communication. It all comes to show that children in Great Man International Kindergarten live a life of happiness.
