member and chairman of the Council,

acting president and vice-chancellor,

女士们先生们

ladies and gentlemen,

学生们、校友们

friends and students by alumnus.

大家下午好

Good afternoon.

我对这场盛大的学位颁授典礼感触颇深

I'm extremely honored and moved and touched by this great mother's split and a traditional ceremony.

非常感谢香港大学

and thank you very much for Hong Kong University

给予我这个极大的信任和荣誉

giving me this great trust and honor.

大家知道，我曾经尝试

You know I've been trying to

进入大学，但失败了三次

enter University for many times in a failed of three times

最后才进入了大学

and went to in the university.

我从来不敢想象我将会成为一名博士

I never thought in my dream to become a PhD and of honour

我学习并不是很努力

but I didn't work very hard

一次次地在考试中失败

I just failed examinations again again

我的故事说明

and my story tells that

那些非常努力的人

those people worked very hard

如果一次又一次地失败了，不要放弃

but failed again again don't give up

某天一个像香港大学这样的优秀大学会等着你

someday a great university like the Hong Kong University is waiting for you

and I also would love to thank professor Chows for this great words for me and for what people

我在下面听着的时候

and I think I was when I was listening to there

我想其实我没那么优秀

I was not that good

我想我得到这个荣誉

and I think I got this honor

不是因为我是合格的

not because I'm qualified

总有一天我会证明我是合格的

I will work hard to prove that I will be qualified one day

这个博士学位，我认为这不仅仅是对我的承认

and this PhD degree, I don't think it's a it's only in a acknowledge of me

也是对所有永不言弃的企业家的认可

but it's the recognition of the intrapreneurships' of the sprit never give up

我认为企业家是社会科学领域的科学家

I think entrepreneurs are the scientist in the social science

科学家和企业家之间有很多相似之处

scientists and entrepreneurs we have a lot of similarities

我们都在冒险，我们都想要创新

we all take risk, we all want innovation

科学家知道怎样做事合适

and scientist do know how to do things proper

商人知道怎样做事高效

and business people know how to do things effectively and efficiently

大多数人先看到什么再相信什么

most people seeing is believing

而像我们这样的人

people like us

是先相信什么再看到什么

we believe and then we will see

当我们开始创业时

when we start our business

我们没有钱

we don't have money

我们没有资源

we don't have resources

我们什么都没有

we don't have anything

我们唯一拥有的就是相信未来

the only thing we have that we believe the future

我们有梦想

we have the dreams

我们犯了千百次错误

we made hundreds of thousands of mistakes

只有一件事我们没有犯错误

there is only one thing that we did not make the mistake

那就是永不言弃

that is never give up

商业常常与金钱联系起来

and business will talk about money

但我觉得，一个真正的商人，一个真正的企业家

but I think a real business people, a real entrepreneur

不止知道怎样赚钱

not only know how to make money

还知道怎样花钱

but how to spend money

我们不是为钱而活

and we do not live for money

也不是为钱而工作

we do not work for money
