Xiamen in South China.
The city centre is an island situated in a bay , with lakes, mountains and beaches on it. Many skyscrappers and a ring road present a beautiful skyline along the coast.
In addition the mainland part of Xiamen around the bay is also well developed.

Chongqing skyline is no worse than that of Shanghai, due to all mountainous terrains. The bund is awesome, whilst flat (both the terrain of the viewer and the terrain of the skyscrapers). Chongqing’s skyline is so called “three-dimensional”: the viewer can see it from a hill (south hill) and the downtown itself is on a hill.
